For this piece, I was asked to examine gender through the lens of music.  I decided to do this by creating a sort of "musical drag."  In it, the ensemble, made entirely of low brass instruments, plays several quotations of well known pieces for high winds and strings.  This represents my experience with gender, feeling consistently out of place as I try to navigate my own expression and gender identity.
