Singer-Songwriter

Dawson Atkin is a New York based singer-songwriter writing songs about love, friendship, and memory. Originally from Western Massachusetts, Dawson’s music channels folk and indie influences to tell deeply personal stories. Dawson’s work regularly deals with queer identity, mental health, and their rural upbringing, drawing the influences of the natural world into their songs. Combining honest lyricism and vulnerably stripped-back accompaniment, Dawson's music creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere for their listeners. Inspired by artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Indigo Girls, Dawson's music is for everyone, but especially for queer folks who miss their friends.
