decades away uses found sound to represent how friendships can grow in the face of crisis.  The sounds are representative of people and places which were havens of socialization in the midst of the isolation of the pandemic.  These include a conversation had during a car ride, and the sounds of a university dining hall.   The piano improvisation was performed by Dawson Atkin and Joseph Hayes
