All The Harm I've Ever Done
Chamber Orchestra - 5 min.
Program Note:
All The Harm I've Ever Done is an exploration of mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is done through the radical deconstruction, and then reconstruction, of the folk song The Parting Glass. The piece examines the anxiety and pain brought about by the pandemic, while ultimately ending on a note of hope.
premiere information:
All The Harm I've Ever Done was premiered by The Hartt School's Foot in the Door ensemble in March, 2021 under the direction of James Minnix.
